Skype Therapy Sessions for the Treatment of Anxiety and Depression
if you are struggling with anxiety or depression or an addiction and you would like help, you might consider scheduling Skype therapy sessions that employ the methods and techniques of Mindfulness Therapy. In my experience, this is by far the most effective approach available for transforming anxiety and depression and releasing yourself from the emotional habits that can cause such distress and suffering in our personal life and in our relationships.
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy sessions via Skype. Skype therapy sessions are very effective for working with anxiety, depressions and addictions.
Most people really benefit from the mindfulness-based techniques that I teach during these Skype therapy sessions. It is learning how to work with your emotions more effectively that is what is really needed, and for most people this produces lasting results that are far more effective than the temporary relief of symptoms provided by medications.
Medications may be useful for reducing the intensity of symptoms for a short period of time, but in the long term, medications are really not going to help change those underlying habitual patterns that create your anxiety and depression.
We have to really get to the root of the problem, which really means changing the underlying habitual patterns of reactive thinking and healing the core emotions that propagate that reactive thinking.
This requires the development of a very special kind of conscious awareness that we call mindfulness. Mindfulness is really my specialty, this is what I have been working on for many years now and that I talk about in my book, ‘The Path of Mindfulness Meditation.’ It is absolutely transforming our whole understanding of how how to help people change and transform the mind. It is really, very, very effective and well worth pursuing.
If you would like to learn more about Skype therapy sessions with me and you would like to learn more about Mindfulness Therapy, simply go to my website, learn more, and then when you are ready to schedule a Skype therapy session simply email me and we will make an appointment. Thank you!
Skype therapy sessions – Skype counseling therapy
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist and I offer Skype therapy sessions, that is Skype counseling therapy for the treatment of anxiety, for help with panic attacks, and also for the treatment of depression, and also for help in managing the psychological component of addictions. If you’re interested in learning more about the value of Skype therapy sessions for managing anxiety and depression and other common emotional problems, do go to my website and then call me by e-mail to schedule a Skype therapy session.
The online therapy approach is immensely effective for most people who are not dealing with a medical problem. The online Skype therapy sessions are designed to give you the tools, the practical methods for managing emotional suffering. I teach mindfulness therapy and this works extremely well online. It gives you the tools to manage your emotional reactivity.
Usually when people start working with me they see quite dramatic improvements after the first three or four sessions, sometimes sooner than that, and this is because we focus on the real underlying cause of your anxiety or depression, and that is patterns of habitual reactive thinking that have gotten established and that operates habitually, out of consciousness.
Mindfulness is basically a consciousness skill. It’s the application of consciousness and friendliness towards your emotions. This combination is very effective indeed. Most of the time we struggle with our emotions. We try to avoid them. We have aversion towards them. We don’t like them we try to get rid of them. We try to fix them. We medicate them. All these approaches are not effective because it doesn’t establish the right quality of relationship with your emotions that helps them to heal.
You need to start approaching your emotions the same way that you might approach a child, a child that is in pain. Avoidance, aversion does not help. What does help always, is when you embrace that child’s pain with consciousness and love. This is the equivalent of what we learn how to do during mindfulness therapy sessions and it works extremely well.
If you like to learn more about mindfulness approach and schedule some Skype therapy sessions with me, go to my website, send me an email and we can set up a trial Skype therapy session. Skype counseling therapy is certainly on the rise and it’s becoming very popular indeed, especially for people suffering from anxiety. So if this is of interest for you, go to my website and contact me. Thank you.

Skype Therapy Sessions for Overcoming Anxiety and Depression – Counselling via Skype
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide Skype Therapy online for the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions and other emotional problems.
So, what is Skype therapy? Well, primarily, it’s no different than meeting a therapist in-person in an office. The medium of Skype allows you to actually have a video conference call with a psychotherapist, so you can see each other and speak to each other in real time. And this is one of the great advantages of using Skype for therapy. It’s really important that you are able to see each other as well as hear each other in real time. But that is really the only requirement for good quality psychotherapy; you don’t need to be in the same office together in-person.
Skype therapy is becoming very popular now as an alternative to traditional office-based visits. It’s much more convenient for you, the client, of course, because you don’t have to leave your home to have a Skype therapy session. Also, you don’t have to leave your office if you want to arrange a Skype therapy session from work.
Also, many people like Skype therapy when they are traveling and where they might want to keep their therapy sessions going when they are on the road.
So, I offer Skype therapy throughout North America; I have some clients in South America. I have many clients in Western Europe. We can arrange Skype therapy wherever you are. All you need, of course, is an internet connection, a laptop, or even an i-phone. Now many people arrange Skype therapy sessions using their smart phone.
So, if you would like to learn more about Skype therapy, do please contact me and learn more about Skype therapy and the style of psychotherapy that I offer online, which is called Mindfulness Therapy, and which is very effective for anxiety and depression and also for managing compulsive emotional impulses that are of course at the center of most addictions.
So, please send me an email and we can schedule a Skype therapy session at a time that suits you. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

Online therapy and counseling is very effective as well as being very convenient for you. I often see clients who suffer from severe anxiety and sometimes agoraphobia. Mindfulness Therapy is about changing how you relate to your emotions
Really, what we’re most concerned about is helping you change your relationship to your emotions. We try to prevent them or we respond with self-criticism incredible aversion and self-loathing. Avoidance and Aversion are your worst enemies. They just fuel the inherent procedure for psychological anguish and prevent change. It’s possible to alter anxiety and depression or addiction, but you must first develop a mindful and friendly relationship together with your emotions, and that is perhaps among the hallmarks of Mindfulness Therapy.
Emotions will begin to change when you’ve established the correct relationship with your emotion and thoughts. You effectively create the right internal emotional states that allow them to change, transform and heal. This is what we call establishing Right Relationship and this can be a really, very important core principle in Mindfulness Therapy.
Change the Emotional Imagery
The other matter that we explore during our online therapy sessions would be to investigate the actual internal structure of your emotions; how your emotions actually work. This is quite different than normal “talk therapy.” We don’t spend so much time talking about our emotions, as you might do in traditional counseling, but instead we investigate our emotions to discover how they work. And this is where we come to the region of whatever is called Emotional Imagery, because its how you see your emotions and thoughts in the mind that determines the intensity of your emotions. It’s the way you see your emotions, the way you envision those ideas and emotions in the mind that makes them powerful. Most people are unaware of this psychological imagery, but mindfulness is really all about investigating the actual structure of your emotions and creating consciousness and knowledge. Through applied mindfulness you will uncover this emotional imagery.
The more you learn more about the image structure of your emotions the more detail you will find. The more conscious you become the more choice you have and the more you can start changing the old habitual emotional imagery into more positive imagery. Through working with the imagery in this way you can fundamentally transform the emotion itself.
Change the imagery and you change the emotion.
And so, if you are considering learning more about Mindfulness Therapy and about Skype therapy sessions, do please CONTACT ME through my site.
First, contact me and tell me about the psychological problems that you are struggling with.
The second thing to do will be to schedule a Trial Skype Therapy Session. Now a trial session ensures that you do not have to pay anything upfront. You only make your payment through PayPal for the session that you want to continue mindfulness therapy with me and if you are completely satisfied.
The third step after the very first trial session would be to track your improvement, because Mindfulness Therapy, as I mentioned before, is fairly distinct than traditional talk therapy; it is much quicker, and I anticipate all my customers to find major developments after about 3-4 sessions. You’ll understand very definitely after the initial handful of sessions when that is likely to be effective for you personally plus that is important. Results should be expected by you and that I intend to let you get those results, to see actual major redaction in the degree of your anxiety, real critical decrease in the level of your depression, and real freedom from addiction and compulsion.
PLEASE CONTACT ME and let’s discuss scheduling a Skype therapy session to help you overcome your anxiety or depression. Thank you!
Therapy sessions by Skype
Does Skype Therapy Work?
Yes, it most certainly does. There is no real difference between psychotherapy by Skype or therapy in-person. Both formats are equally effective for helping you learn better strategies for managing anxiety or depression. What is much more important is the quality of the form of psychotherapy that you choose and the competence of the psychotherapist you select.

Most of my students see very marked improvements after 3-4 sessions. Read more about Mindfulness Therapy on my other pages.

The Skype therapy option is a good choice for most people and it has the added advantage that you can stay at home and get the help you need.
Psychotherapy Sessions via Skype
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong, and I’m a professional therapist. I offer online therapy through Skype for all forms of emotional stress and anxiety, online treatment for depression, as well as addiction counseling online, all via Skype.
Now, if you are considering working with an online therapist, you should take some time to find the best therapist for your specific requirements. Online therapy is now quite common and there are numerous services offering online psychotherapy, especially for working with common emotional problems and relationship issues. What I would always recommend is that you speak to your online therapist before you begin scheduling sessions with him. You need to find a way to, at least, correspond with him or her through e-mail to learn if he or she is the right type of online therapist for you.
You will find many different styles of psychotherapy and also you should try to find the one that works for you personally. The type of psychotherapy I offer online is called Mindfulness Therapy, and this is similar like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is extremely popular, but Mindfulness Therapy focuses more on helping you manage your emotions directly. Cognitive therapy, of course, focuses mainly on the thoughts and beliefs that you have, whereas Mindfulness Therapy focuses more on the underlying emotions that fuel those repetitive or compulsive thoughts or beliefs. This is one of the central difference between Mindfulness Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
We understand in Mindfulness Therapy that if you can change or neutralize that underlying emotion then the thoughts will essentially change themselves because they become irrelevant and will eventually be replaced by more favorable thoughts or ideas that are better adjusted to current circumstances.
Emotion is what actually fuels thoughts and beliefs and this is what we work on changing. The first step would be to create what we call a Mindfulness-Based Relationship with your emotions. This is learning to be present with your emotions, but without becoming reactive and without becoming identified with those emotions, without becoming overwhelmed by them.
The second step that I will teach you during our therapy sessions is to work on changing the structure of the emotion. After you have formed a good relationship with your emotions you can then investigate the structure of how those emotions work. In Mindfulness Therapy we consider that the primary structure of all emotions is based on emotional imagery – how you see that emotion internally in the mind. We create internal images that hold that mental energy together to produce the specific emotion, whether that is anxiety or depression or grief or shame…
It’s the emotional imagery that we must work on changing. Mindfulness gives you the ability to investigate that internal imagery to view its construction, and then, by seeing more of its structure you are able to produce changes in that imagery.
When we change the imagery, we simultaneously change the emotion itself and after that the thoughts shift in response to that change in the emotional imagery.
This is a really powerful method of working with the underlying process that causes your anxiety, your psychological suffering, your depression or your addiction, and because of this, changes are considerably faster than with standard talk therapy. Typically, virtually everyone that I have worked with has noticed major changes in the frequency of emotional episodes and in the intensity of their emotional reactions within 2-3 weeks. So, the Mindfulness Therapy strategy is generally very cost-effective. Good psychotherapy should NOT take years; to me that simply indicates that the approach is ineffective and not sufficiently focused.
If you would like to find out more about Mindfulness Therapy and you would like to schedule a Skype therapy session with me, please contact me via email to ask any questions you might have and to schedule a Skype therapy session.
During therapy sessions, I will work with you as an online therapist, teaching you effective methods for healing emotional pain.
The primary cause of anxiety or depression or addictions involves conditioned reactive thinking, patterns of habitual reactive thinking that get activated either through inner thoughts or through external conditions and these reactive patterns of thinking tend to proliferate and fuel the underlying emotion. This is what we work on transforming during therapy using the principles of Mindfulness Therapy as our primary method. You will learn very quickly how to better manage your habitual thinking and how to stop the process that feeds those underlying emotions.
Most people see quite dramatic improvements within 3 to 6 sessions. Each session is usually 60-90 minutes long, and we can find a time that fits your schedule, if I have spaces available. All you need is a quiet place for your therapy sessions, Skype, and PayPal to make online payments after each therapy session.
So, if you want to learn more about the benefits of online therapy, please contact me. Contact me to learn more about this online counseling therapy service and find out more about how it can help you better manage your difficult emotions.

Skype Therapy for Overcoming Anxiety and Depression. Are Skype Therapy Sessions Right for You?
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist. I specialize in online therapy because I find it a very effective way of helping my clients overcome anxiety and depression and other emotional problems.
Most people, and perhaps this applies to you too, that are suffering from anxiety or depression, really, what they need is a way of working with the psychological process that creates that emotional suffering.
Medications and the medical approach don’t really treat the psychological habit that creates anxiety or depression, or panic attacks. Medications only alleviate symptoms temporarily, but they do not change that underlying psychological process. That is really what I am offering online through these Skype therapy sessions.
I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy, and mindfulness therapy really works extremely well with anxiety and depression. It does help you change the way that you relate to your emotions. That’s the most important thing that needs to change.
The habit is to become identified with our emotions and our thoughts. This identification reaction feed the anxiety or depression and it stops it from changing or resolving.
One of the primary themes that we understand in Mindfulness Therapy is that when you change the habit that feeds anxiety or depression then that anxiety or depression will begin to resolve by itself; it will reduce in frequency and it will reduce in it’s intensity if you stop fueling it, if you stop feeding it through patterns of habitual reactive thinking.
So, that a prime focus of Mindfulness Therapy which is what I teach during these Skype therapy sessions for anxiety and depression.
Most people see really substantial changes after relatively few sessions. Why? Well, simply because we focus very specifically on changing those underlying habits, and I teach you tools that you can apply yourself between sessions to really accelerate this process of overcoming reactive identification. When you do that then everything begins to change very much quicker.
No amount of medications will do that for you. Even talk therapy, by itself, is not enough; you have to change those patterns directly. Talking about your emotions also produces temporary relief from symptoms but it doesn’t change that underlying process, and until you do, the anxiety or depression will simply return when the triggers are present.
So, if you would like to learn more about Skype therapy for anxiety and depression, simply email me and we can schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you!

Seeing a Skype therapist is a very good choice if you want to find an alternative to medical treatments or the standard form of talking therapy that often really doesn’t seem to do the job. I developed this service, this mindfulness-based service as an alternative to conventional counseling or talk therapy and certainly as a way of trying to give you the tools to use to overcome your anxiety or depression without having to resort to medications.
Medications don’t really change the underlying psychological cause of your anxiety or depression. And often just talking about your emotions is not enough either. The whole focus of mindfulness therapy is to help you change those underlying patterns of habitual reactive thinking that feeds anxiety and depression. Skype Therapy Sessions – Therapy via Skype
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I offer Skype therapy sessions for the treatment of anxiety and Skype therapy sessions for working with panic attacks and many other common anxiety disorders that don’t require medical treatment. Most anxiety responds extremely well to the process of Mindfulness Therapy, which is what I offer during these therapy sessions.
Mindfulness teaches you how to break free from that tendency to become identified with your anxiety. This is the biggest problem that we face when we’re trying to break free from anxiety. We get sucked into our anxiety, we literally become the anxiety itself. What we need to do is trying to develop a conscious relationship with our emotions. We need to become like the caring parent to our anxiety, instead of just becoming swallowed up by the anxiety. This is what we train in during the Skype therapy sessions that I offer for the treatment of anxiety and also depression. It’s not that difficult, but it does require some guidance on how to do this, on how to build a conscious and also a friendly relationship with your anxiety.
The friendliness aspect is very important because the more friendly you become the better the relationship, and the better the relationship with your anxiety, the freer you will become from the grip of the anxiety. So friendliness actually aids the process of becoming free from your anxiety. You do this by actually meditating on how anxiety you learn how to hold anxiety within the mind without becoming reactive and without becoming swallowed up by the anxiety, without becoming reactive and identified.
In technical terms this is often referred to as mindfulness-based affect tolerance. So we are learning to tolerate the anxiety without becoming reactive and without feeding that anxiety.
If you’d like to learn more about how to apply mindfulness for healing anxiety and depression, as well, then please go to my website and email me to schedule a Skype therapy session. Therapy via Skype is very effective and mindfulness therapy works very well online. So I look forward to hearing from you.

Traditional talk therapy can be useful, but often it does not alter the the underlying process that is the real cause of your anxiety and depression.
This also applies to the use of medications – the anti-anxiety medication may provide a temporary relief from symptoms for a while, but medications will not transform the underlying process that causes your anxiety or depression.

Most of my students notice quite dramatic improvements after the first couple of sessions of Mindfulness Therapy.
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong, and I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy, which I teach online through Skype. If you would like help with anxiety or depression, then do please go to my website and learn more about this online therapy service, and then email me to schedule a Skype therapy session.
I specialize, really, in the application of mindfulness for the treatment of anxiety. Skype therapy sessions work really well for helping you overcome anxiety. The techniques of Mindfulness Therapy, which work really well online, will allow you to break free from the habit of becoming overwhelmed by anxiety or panic attacks.
Basically, what I will teach you is how to fundamentally change your relationship to your mind: to your thoughts and to your emotional reactions so that they do not control how you feel.
Emotional reactions are basically habits and anxiety and depression as well is primarily the result of a psychological habit. That habit may have many different triggers, including chemical imbalance in the brain or the body, but that psychological habit is what actually creates the anxiety or depression, and that is what we can change through the application of mindfulness.
When you apply mindfulness to the mind, to thoughts and emotions or traumatic memories, that mindfulness will transform those emotional reactions.
So, if you would like to learn more about how to overcome anxiety through mindfulness therapy, do please go to my website and then email me. Thank you.

Skype Therapy Sessions
My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional registered psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado, USA. I offer psychotherapy online via Skype.
Have you ever considered speaking to a therapist online? It’s a very popular option these days. Many people are choosing this as an alternative to a meeting with a therapist in an office. One reason is that it is much more convenient, of course, since you don’t have to drive to the counselor’s office. You don’t have to waste all that time spent driving or waiting. You can call from home, or from your office, or wherever you are, even from your hotel room if you’re traveling abroad. It’s definitely a better choice for most people.
With the advent of Skype it’s now possible to talk to a therapist online and see him or her at the same time. The experience is just the same as if you were meeting in person. I’ve been working with online therapy for a number of years now. As far as I’m concerned there is no real difference between online or in-person therapy, especially if you’re teaching some form of cognitive therapy or mindfulness therapy, as I teach, where the emphasis is on teaching skills for working with difficult emotions. This can be transmitted online through Skype just as well as it can face-to-face in the office.

But another advantage of using Skype for therapy sessions is that it is much more comfortable for you, it is much less intimidating for the client, it is less clinical in nature, and I believe this is a very important advance in psychotherapy – to make it less clinical and more available as an educational type service to help you learn the strategies you need to work with difficult emotions, to learn practical methods for overcoming anxiety, for example, for managing panic attacks.

Online therapy for managing anxiety and depression – Using Skype for Therapy Sessions
Many of my online therapy clients suffer from anxiety, that is perhaps the most common condition that I treat using Mindfulness Therapy, and they all really enjoy this approach.
Many of my clients have already tried conventional in-person therapy sessions with a counselor or a psychotherapist using the more traditional talk therapy approach. Many have also been prescribed medications to treat their anxiety or depression.
What I find over and over again is that simple talk therapy or counseling and medications are just not enough; they simply do not treat the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression or addiction. They may treat the symptoms, they make you feel better for a while, but the results won’t last because nothing has changed at the underlying psychological level.
This is where Mindfulness Therapy comes in. This is a technique and approach to psychotherapy that I developed many years ago now, and that I talk about in my book, ‘The Path of Mindfulness Meditation.’
Mindfulness Therapy is, of course, based on some Buddhist psychology, but you don’t need to be a Buddhist to practice mindfulness, far from it.
What mindfulness really teaches you is a way of developing a conscious relationship with your mind, with your emotions, with you thoughts, with your memories, with your perceptions, with your beliefs, with anything that constitutes mind.
For most of us, we do not have a conscious relationship with our mind; our mind simply operates out of blind habit, out of blind conditioning. For example, we may have a particular thought about taking an exam, or a thought about driving, for example, to a new place, and then experience tremendous anxiety or even a panic attack.
The thought, of course, is not the cause of the anxiety, but it is a trigger, and what it triggers is an underlying psychological conditioned reaction, and that is what we focus on changing during these online mindfulness sessions that I offer over Skype.
We have to change these emotional habits directly. Talking about them or treating the symptoms with medicines will not change that underlying emotional habit.
So, learning to form a relationship that is based on consciousness and friendliness, even, with your emotions is absolutely central to produce lasting change.
That’s the first step in Mindfulness Therapy, it is developing freedom in relationship to your emotions; learning how to have a conscious relationship with your emotions without becoming reactive, without becoming overwhelmed by that emotion. This is very possible with training, and most of my clients are able to do this quite successfully after 2-3 sessions.
So the anxiety may get triggered but they no longer react with anxiety, they no longer become identified with that anxiety. This then makes it very much easier to change that habit directly. If you are not feeding the habit through reactivity then the habit has no choice but to change.
Changing the emotional habits is another stage in mindfulness therapy that we start to get involved with perhaps after the first or second session. This is where we explore the imagery of the emotions.
All emotions are based around imagery, that is, how you see the emotion in the mind. It is how you see it that determines the intensity of the emotion. This is very clear in the case of traumatic memories. It is not the event itself that creates the emotional trauma, it’s not the memory of the event that causes the emotional trauma. It is the way you see that memory in your mind, and of course, for a traumatic image-memory it is likely to be very intense in color, it is likely to be very close psychologically, we see the image very close. It’s likely to be very large and many other factors like that is what actually causes the emotion, not the events, not the objective memory of the event, but the subjective way we see it in the mind.
So, this is the second phase of Mindfulness Therapy that we investigate in great detail during the second or third session. We start to investigate the actual structural imagery of your emotions. The more you see, of course, the more you can change that imagery. When you change the imagery of an emotion you change the emotion itself; you change the the cause of that emotion.
So, this is a very interesting area for most people. Most people have never looked at the imagery of their emotions. This is the actual mechanism that produces emotional suffering, that produces anxiety, that produces depression. It is the imagery.
So, during the process of Mindfulness Therapy online, we will begin to develop both of these aspects for changing those emotional habits directly. The first is changing your relationship to the emotion so you don’t feed it through reactivity. Second, explore the imagery of the emotion and change that in a way that leads to the reduction of the intensity of the emotion.
This is the most direct method that I know to successfully overcome anxiety and depression and also for treating PTSD, of course and other forms of traumatic experience which leave these intense images in the mind.

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide online therapy via Skype.
So, during these Skype therapy sessions I teach Mindfulness Therapy. This is a particular way of working with difficult emotions, including anxiety, depression, addictions and any other difficult emotions that you may be facing.
Mindfulness Therapy is immensely effective, especially for anxiety. Anxiety, like depression is formed as an emotional habit and these habits operate automatically; they are triggered by either internal factors, such as thoughts or memories, or external factors. For example, the sight of a spider can elicit a panic attack in someone who has a phobia of spiders.
So, the important thing to understand about anxiety and depression is that these emotional habits are subjective, they are learned, we acquire these habits through conditioning and they operate out of awareness, unconsciously, quite automatically, and most of us are quite unaware of the actual reactive process at work. We are aware of the trigger and we are aware of the outcome, the suffering, but not of the psychological subjective process, the habitual process, that operates in the mind and that gets triggered.
During Mindfulness Therapy, which I offer during these Skype therapy sessions, we will work on changing these underlying emotional habits. Mindfulness is one of the most effective ways of doing this; it’s like shining a spotlight on the habit itself. It brings consciousness to the habit and this is what is most needed to change any habit, emotional habits included.
The process of mindfulness therapy is very focused and very practical. It is quite different than conventional counseling or talk therapy. Rather than talking about our emotions we actually look at the underlying mechanism – this emotional habit and we work on changing that directly rather than just talking about our emotions.
Because it is so direct and focused, most people will see quite substantial changes in the intensity of their anxiety or depression after far fewer sessions when compared to conventional counseling. You can expect to see significant improvements after 3-4 sessions, typically. then you will have learned some of the basic mindfulness methods that I teach during these online therapy sessions and you will have had time to practice them between the sessions. This is the most important part of any effective psychotherapy – it’s giving you the tools to practice by yourself at home to work with your emotions and continue the work that we started during the sessions.
So, if you are interested in learning more about online therapy, please go to my website and let’s schedule a Skype therapy session, and you can see for yourself how effective this approach can be. Thank you!
Skype therapy sessions using Mindfulness for Anxiety & Depression
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I’m a professional psychotherapist specializing in mindfulness. And I offer Skype therapy sessions to help overcome anxiety, panic attacks, depression, addictions and other common emotional psychological problems.
During the Skype therapy sessions, I’ll be teaching you very specific mindfulness techniques for reducing anxiety and depression and other emotional problems. The mindfulness approach is immensely effective and my clients almost always see quite dramatic improvements after the first two or three sessions. It is quite different than standard talk therapy. We don’t spend so much time talking about our emotions but rather changing the way that we see our emotions in the mind and the relationship that we have with our emotions.
It’s very important to develop a conscious and friendly relationship with your anxiety or depression. If you don’t then the anxiety or depression basically begins to become isolated and contracted and starts to become more intense. But if you do develop conscious friendly awareness, mindfulness, towards your anxiety or depression then it begins to change quite dramatically and that change will always lead in the direction of healing, if you bring mindfulness to your emotions. If you continue to react to your emotions then the emotions become worse. If you develop non-reactive mindfulness towards your emotions then they tend to heal and mindfulness really speeds up the process of natural healing and that’s why it’s so effective.
If you’d like to learn more about mindfulness-based Skype therapy sessions with me, do please go to my website and then email me to ask any questions you have about Skype therapy sessions and also about the mindfulness approach and how it can work for you and let’s schedule a trial Skype therapy session so you can experience for yourself directly just how effective mindfulness therapy can be. In my opinion it is wrong to think of anxiety or depression as an illness but rather think of it as a psychological habit that has become fixed in the minds and which simply operates automatically whenever the triggers are present. The mindfulness approach that I specialize in is extremely effective for anxiety and depression, and most of my clients see dramatic improvements after the first two or three sessions.
Really, when we are working with anxiety and depression, the primary focus is trying to prevent ourselves becoming overwhelmed. This becomes a habit that operates out of consciousness whereby we become automatically overwhelmed by anxiety or depression whenever they get triggered by thoughts or events. The key in mindfulness training is learning to see the emotion and change your relationship to it to one of being unconscious to one of being conscious and not getting swept away by the emotion. It’s possible to actually see the emotion and not become consumed by it. This is the foundation of mindfulness training and it is very very effective indeed.

Skype therapy sessions – Psychotherapy without using Medications
Welcome. My name is Peter Strong and I provide Skype therapy sessions for the treatment of anxiety and depression and for many other common psychological problems that are caused by habitual reactive thinking. This is by far the most common cause of anxiety and depression, where the mind becomes trapped in patterns of recurring reactive thoughts that simply feeds the underlying emotions, rather like feeding a fire with wood. In the mindfulness therapy approach that I teach during the Skype therapy sessions we work on changing this habitual reactive thinking, quite dramatically.
We learn to take charge of our thoughts and our mind in general. We learn to break free from this blind habit of becoming lost in reactive thinking and we start to break free from the pattern of emotional suffering that is produced by that reactive thinking.
If you’d like to learn more about mindfulness therapy and this approach to changing longstanding patterns of anxiety or panic attacks or OCD, please go to my website and learn more about Skype therapy and these mindfulness sessions that they teach and then email me to schedule a Skype therapy session with me.
