Skype Therapy – Online Psychotherapy Services
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional online therapist, and I provide Skype therapy services as a way of helping you work with overcoming anxiety or depression or addictions or any other emotional problems that you may be experiencing.
There Skype therapy services are available world-wide, wherever you may live. All you need is an internet connection and Skype, and also a PayPal account to make secure online payments for your Skype therapy sessions, and then you are ready to start.
The style of therapy that I offer is called Mindfulness Therapy, which you can read about on my website, CounselingTherapyOnline.com, and it works extremely well online through Skype.
The style of this Mindfulness Therapy is really very practical and very focused on helping you change the underlying patterns of negative thinking or emotional reactivity that create your anxiety or depression.
Most people become overwhelmed by habitual thoughts and emotional reactions, but is is just a habit, at the end of the day, and these habits can be changed by bringing the consciousness skills of mindfulness to bare. When you bring consciousness to a habit then you begin to defuse that habit and it becomes possible to change the habit and find a better outcome.
So, mindfulness is really about learning to see how these habits work and then ho to change these emotional habits, and it works extremely well and most people see tremendous improvements, especially with anxiety and depression.

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I provide a Skype Therapy Service for the treatment of anxiety and for the treatment of depression and for help in recovery from addictions.
So, Skype Therapy is a very effective way of getting access to a psychotherapist and learning effective ways of managing your anxiety or depression, or other difficult emotions.
During the Skype therapy sessions that I offer, you will be learning mindfulness-based techniques to work with your anxiety. Now, Mindfulness Therapy has become incredibly popular in recent years and there is not many people who are offering it and so this is why many people come to me for online sessions because they specifically want to learn the mindfulness-based approach for working with emotional suffering. It’s much more effective, in my opinion, than conventional talk therapy or counseling, because it really focuses on changing the whole underlying process that creates emotional suffering.
We work on changing the structure of your emotions and changing your relationship to your emotions. Both of these are very important parts of the healing process.
Emotional Imagery – Change it and you change your emotions
Changing the structure of emotions is quite interesting, because this is based on what we call the Structural Theory of Emotions, that is a central part of Mindfulness Therapy as I teach it. whereby we find out that emotions are primarily based on imagery. An emotion is the product of internal psychological imagery that we create and that we become habitually identified with.
The most common example would be traumatic imagery for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). There they tend to have very vivid internal psychological imagery, and when that imagery gets triggered then they will have an equally intense emotional reaction.
Sometime this internal imagery is like a memory image in which the traumatic scene is replayed in the mind. More often it is more of an abstract image that has certain characteristics that make the emotion appear. For example, the most common characteristic of intense emotional imagery is its size and its position. If the emotional imagery is very large then the chances are that it is going to be very overwhelming; the emotional reaction will be very intense.
Mindfulness Therapy is all about exploring the details of how emotions work. We actually focus mindfulness, which is a form of direct conscious awareness, onto the emotion. We learn to meditate on the emotion in order to see more of the details of its imagery, because the more you learn about the structure of the emotional imagery, the more you are able to change that imagery and make it smaller, for example. When you change the emotional imagery you will change the intensity of the emotion.
So, that is one important part of Mindfulness Therapy that I offer in the Skype therapy service. If you are interested in learning more about how to work with your emotions and change the underlying imagery and the underlying habitual cause of your anxiety or depression or addiction, do please go to my website, just click on the link to my website and learn more about Skype Therapy, learn more about Mindfulness Therapy, and then EMAIL ME.
We can set up a trial session in which you can see for yourself how effective Skype Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy is. So, please go to my website and CONTACT ME and let’s get started. Thank you!
Skype Therapy – Psychotherapy Online
Psychotherapy can be delivered online via Skype and it works very well, especially for treating anxiety disorders, depression, OCD and addictions.
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist specializing in mindfulness therapy, which is a very effective treatment for anxiety disorders, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, OCD and other kinds of psychological problems associated with anxiety.
Skype therapy also works very well for depression, as well, helping you overcome those habitual patterns of reactive thinking that create depression.
The Skype psychotherapy option is, of course, very convenient and is just as effective in my opinion to in-person therapy. I do both, but I find the Skype therapy has some distinct advantages. One of which is that you, the client, feel much more in control of the process; it’s much more empowering. You feel that you are learning something through this process instead of just being treated as a passive recipient; and that’s a very strong focus in Mindfulness Therapy – it’s about giving you specific and practical tools for changing those habitual patterns of reactive thinking that create anxiety and depression, and most other common psychological problems.
If you are interested and you would like to learn more about Skype therapy and if you would like to learn if it is suitable for you specifically, then do please email me through my website and ask any questions you may have and I will be delighted to help you.
Skype-based psychotherapy is now becoming very common and it is a very good choice, especially if you are living abroad or you are living in an area where the psychotherapy options are not sufficient.
Also, most of my clients have a specific interest in mindfulness and that’s why they come to me because that is what I specialize in.
So, please go to my website and email me to schedule a therapy session.

SKYPE THERAPY COUNSELING SERVICE
Skype therapy provides a very effective way of getting professional psychotherapy for help in overcoming emotional problems such as chronic anxiety, fear, social anxiety, and for the treatment of depression and other emotional problems. During each Skype therapy session I will teach you effective mindfulness-based methods designed to help you break free from anxiety and depression or addiction. The Mindfulness therapy approach is very effective and works well online. Do contact me to learn more.
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado, and I offer Skype therapy counseling as an alternative to office-based counseling for the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions and other emotional problems.
The Skype therapy approach works extremely well online. It covers the main factors that we need for successful psychotherapy, and that is that we can see each other as well as talk to each other in real time. It is really exactly the same as being in the office with the person, and for the style of therapy that I offer, which is called Mindfulness Therapy, it is perfectly adequate having your sessions through Skype. In some ways it’s actually better for you because it is more convenient, it’s more comfortable for you. It means you don’t have to leave home, which can be a major factor, especially if you are struggling with anxiety or depression, which is what I specialize in.
Mindfulness Therapy is particularly effective for overcoming anxiety and for depression as well.
If you are interested in Skype therapy counseling with me, please do go to my website and email me and I will be happy to answer any questions you have about the process, and I will be happy to explain to you in more detail how the mindfulness-based approach that I teach and that I write about in my book, ‘The Path of Mindfulness Meditation’ can help you overcome your specific emotional issues.
As I say, Mindfulness Therapy is by far the best approach available for working with anxiety and depression, and I have also had very good success with addictions and also with the treatment of OCD.
This is because all of these emotional problems are based on chronic underlying psychological emotional habits that tend to operate out of awareness like any habit, and they tend to get triggered and then we become captured by that habit. So, for example, anxiety is primarily a habit. Anxiety can be triggered by a thought or a memory or something that someone says to you, or other event. It triggers an internal psychological habit that then creates the emotion.
Working with these habits is the main focus of Mindfulness Therapy. You will learn very practical and very focused methods of working with your emotions using mindfulness during the therapy sessions and also you will be able to practice these methods by yourself between the therapy sessions.
Most people using this very focused approach typically can expect to see significant reduction in anxiety or depression within 3-4 sessions. We spend much more time working on changing that underlying habit than simply talking about your family history or the reasons that may have caused you to become anxious or depressed in the first place. The history of your emotional suffering is useful, of course, but it is not going to change that emotional habit. You have to focus on that directly, which is what we do in Mindfulness Therapy.
So, if you would like to schedule a Skype therapy counseling session do please go to my website and simply email me and we can arrange a time that works for you and for me. I see people throughout the United States of America, Canada, sometimes South America, certainly in Europe and the United Kingdom, and I also see many clients in the Middle East, including Kuwait, Israel and so on. It’s just really a question of finding a time that works for you and me.
If you would like to schedule a Skype therapy counseling session do please go to my website and email me. Thank you!
Skype Therapy for Reducing Anxiety and Depression
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I’m a professional psychotherapist, specializing in Mindfulness Therapy, which I offer online via Skype.
Mindfulness Therapy is quite an effective way of working with depression, anxiety or addictions. Essentially, it’s a way of shifting those habitual thought patterns that endure your stress or depression, and defusing the emotion underneath the reactive thinking that fuels that believing.
So Mindfulness Therapy is a way of, basically, learning the way to become less reactive, more free, more responsive and better able enough to deal with challenges and the causes of your lifetime.
So, essentially, the way is that we identify the emotion underneath the thought as well as those reactive thoughts and then we establish a Mindfulness-Based Relationship with one of these ideas; we truly learn to meditate on the thoughts and emotions . Instead of trying to push them away or avoid them we really invite them into our consciousness and sit with them as in the event that you had been sitting with a kid or a close friend. You establish a relationship based on consciousness, conscious awareness, and also the quality of friendliness.
We have to understand how to sit with our emotions, make friends with them and really care for them.
The majority of us are not used to the notion of truly caring for our painful emotions or caring for our negative ideas. Our impulse would be to try to remove these, but that Won’t work, as you understand. Should you try and remove negative ideas, of negative feelings, of negative beliefs, they simply get more powerful, and they just chase after you should you try to avoid them.
What really does make the change potential is when you cease fighting them and running from them, but really meditate on them. When you are doing that, then you certainly stop feeding beliefs, ideas or memories that are distressing to those reactive. When you stop feeding them chances are they start to change, they start to recover, they start to transform themselves in that place of non-reactive recognition that we establish through the Mindfulness-Based Relationship that we have with them.
So, this is a system that is very successful, in action, especially for working with stress and for conquering depression, plus it is an excellent means of neutralizing those compulsive impulses that we experience in dependence and other kinds of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, or OCD.
Therefore, if you’d like to learn more about that strategy, this Mindfulness Therapy approach to healing and transforming anxiety, depression, addictions and other emotional difficulties, please e-mail me and then we are able to schedule an online treatment session via Skype.
Most folks find quite remarkable changes in very few sessions. Usually after 2-3 sessions you will notice very dramatic changes in the frequency of negative thinking as well as in the level of depression or anxiety.
Therefore, if you’re considering learning more relating to this strategy, please CONTACT ME and let’s schedule an online therapy session. Thanks!

Most people have Skype installed on their computers and tablets and use it to make video calls to friends and family. Welcome. My name is Peter Strong, and I am a professional registered psychotherapist from Boulder, Colorado. Besides seeing clients in person, I also offer online counseling therapy through Skype. Skype Therapy, as it’s commonly called, is becoming increasingly popular. It’s so convenient for people, which is one of the most attractive features of online therapy. It means that you’re able to schedule your sessions during your work day without having to leave home or leave the office. It’s very convenient. With Skype, you’re able to see the person as well as talk to them. It’s really no different than being in an office, or in person. It’s the same quality of the one-on-one counseling that you could receive in an office, but with the added convenience, as I say.
Many people like this format because it is something that allows them to find the right kind of therapist to work with, someone that they feel comfortable with. That’s extremely important. Good therapy depends on having the right kind of relationship with your therapist. It has to feel good for you as the client. Also, I find that Skype Therapy works extremely well with the form of therapy that I specialize in, which is called Mindfulness Therapy; which I talk about in my book, ‘The Path of
Mindfulness Therapy has grown tremendously in popularity in the last 5 to 10 years now. Our understanding of what mindfulness is and how to use it to effectively work with emotions like anxiety, panic attacks, depression, stress, has grown tremendously. It’s really very, very well worth exploring in detail. What is mindfulness? Basically, it is a form of awareness that we can define as non-reactive awareness. That means that you’re able to sit, literally sit with your emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them, without becoming reactive. This is absolutely essential for healing to occur. The only way that your anxiety or panic attacks will eventually subside is if you can sit with those emotions without feeding them with your reactivity, particularly of course, reactive thinking, avoidance behaviors, or any of these other reactivity that tend to become habits. Mindfulness Therapy is an excellent choice.

Skype therapy with a Skype therapist – Healing anxiety and depression without medications
It is not always necessary or even appropriate to resort to medications such as antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications to recover from anxiety or depression. Medications may produce a temporary relief from the unpleasant emotional and physical symptoms of anxiety and depression, but medications do nothing to heal the underlying root cause of anxiety and depression. That is what we focus on changing through Skype-based mindfulness therapy.
Contact me to learn more about how this approach can help you.
Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I am a professional online therapist and I offer Skype therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression.
Now, Skype therapy is a way of really by-passing the medical approach to treating anxiety or depression or other emotional difficulties that you may be experiencing. Skype therapy does not involve the use of medications and it not a treatment based approach at all. In fact, the whole purpose of Skype therapy is really focusing on teaching you specific practical methods for overcoming the underlying process that causes your anxiety or depression.
Anxiety and depression are, at the end of the day, psychological processes, and you need psychological means to change these habitual processes. Prescription medications may alleviate symptoms but they will not treat the underlying process that creates the anxiety or depression.
So, the Skype therapy that I have developed is based on Mindfulness Therapy, which is a very effective way of working with anxiety and depression, particularly.
We look at the underlying process itself, and this involves primarily, changing your relationship to your emotions. This is the central most important factor in successful recovery from chronic anxiety disorders or chronic depression.
You have to change the way that you relate to your emotions. The habitual way we relate to emotions is typically that we become overwhelmed by them. We become identified, blindly, with our emotions and our thoughts and our beliefs. This is what really sustains anxiety and depression.
We have to change this habit of identification, and this is what we learn how to do during mindfulness therapy sessions.
So, if you would like to learn more about how to work with your anxiety or depression without using medications, and you are interested in working with a Skype therapist like myself, do please go to my website and email me to schedule a Skype therapy session. Thank you!
