It has been a pleasure and I have enjoyed our online therapy sessions together. Although I now live in Colorado, USA, I have many clients in the UK and Europe and it is always a pleasure to talk to a fellow Brit.
People enjoy the convenience of online therapy through Skype and there is plenty of evidence showing the effectiveness of online therapy vs conventional in-person therapy sessions (see http://www.minddistrict.com/corporate/blog/evidence-effectiveness-online-therapy-important-2/).
Most of my clients come to me because they are specifically interested in Mindfulness Therapy for overcoming anxiety and depression. This approach is quite different than conventional "talk therapy" as it addresses the underlying process that causes anxiety or depression rather than just providing temporary relief through catharsis. Mindfulness Therapy is also a better alternative for many to antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications which only treat symptoms but do little to change the underlying psychological process.

Skype is encrypted and is much more secure than telephone or email, both of which have been used for psychotherapy for many decades. It may not be HIPPA compliant, which is why, of course I do not process Health Insurance. Psychotherapy is a broad term referring to the process of helping individuals overcome common emotional problems such as anxiety and depression and this is not restricted to medical or clinical treatment protocols.
